The Adepta Sororitas, originally known as the Daughters of the Emperor, are an all-female militant branch of the Imperial Cult. As the military arm of the Ecclesiarchy, their sacred duty is the ruthless purging of corruption and heresy within mankind. Countless Sororitas Orders are stationed across the galaxy, their fortified convents becoming beacons of hope burning brightly against the darkness of the Imperium Nihilus.

The Sisters of Battle are armed similarly to the Adeptus Astartes, clad in power armor with integrated force feedback systems and wielding bolt weapons as standard armament. Each Order bears its own unique heraldry and traditions, yet only the fleur-de-lis symbol represents the Sororitas as a whole - a sacred sigil of their divine mission to spread the Emperor's faith.
